Wet Thursday & Friday, Sunny Weekend On Tap
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Widespread rain continues across the area. The chance of rain is nearly 100%. Temperatures will hover in the 40s all night long.
THURSDAY: Some rain may linger during the first part of the morning with a bit of a lull developing through the late morning and into the early afternoon. Additional rain is likely going into the evening hours. Daytime highs should squeeze into the low 50s.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Additional moderate to heavy rain is likely as another wave of energy moves back into the area. Temperatures may start out in the 40s and then climb into the low 50s during the night.
FRIDAY: Bouts of heavy rain are possible during the morning with lighter, more scattered activity during the 2nd half of the day. Highs in the 50s are possible during the morning hours with cooler 40s returning during the 2nd half of the day. We’re still looking at rainfall with this system in the 1-4” range with locally higher amounts.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Areas of fog are possible as temperatures cool into the mid 30s.
WEEKEND: Once any morning fog dissolves Saturday, the weekend is shaping up to be mostly sunny and pleasant by early January standards. Highs around 60 are likely Saturday with low to mid 60s returning Sunday. Lows Saturday night should be in the 30s.
MONDAY-TUESDAY: The next chance of rain looks to be late Monday into early Tuesday. We’re going to keep a chance of showers going during the time. Temperatures should remain in the 60s Monday with cooler 50s returning for the middle of the week.
