Wet Wednesday Through Friday

TUESDAY NIGHT: Clouds increase and thicken with some light showers possible late. The overall rain chance is just 10%. Lows will be in the 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Rain showers will become more numerous and widespread as the day goes on. We’re keeping a high chance of rain at 80% with the heaviest activity during the 2nd half of the day and into the evening. Look for highs around 50 with northerly winds between 5 and 10 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Rain continues. Temperatures hover in the 40s.

THURSDAY: Some rain may linger during the first part of the morning with a bit of a lull developing for a good chunk of the daylight hours. We’ve lowered the chance of rain to 50%. Plan on highs in the low 50s.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Additional heavy rain is likely as another wave of energy moves back into the area. Lows stay in the 40s.

FRIDAY: Bouts of heavy rain are possible during the morning with lighter, more scattered activity during the afternoon and early evening. Highs in the 50s are possible during the morning hours with cooler 40s returning during the 2nd half of the day. Total rainfall between Wednesday and Friday may be in the 1-4” range with locally higher amounts.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Areas of fog are possible as temperatures cool into the mid 30s.

WEEKEND: After morning fog dissolves Saturday, the weekend is shaping up to be mostly sunny and pleasant by early January standards. Highs in the 50s are likely Saturday with low 60s returning Sunday. Lows Saturday night should be in the 30s.
