Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car

TUPELO, MS (WCBI) -Tupelo police say a woman walking along Interstate 22 Tuesday morning was hit by a car and killed.
Details are limited  but police say around 7 this morning the unidentified woman was walking about a quarter of a mile from the Natchez Trace exit ramp when she was struck.
The victim’s name isn’t being released until family members have been notified.
