Woman facing burglary charge in Tishomingo County

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman is facing charges after trying to break into the home of an elderly Tishomingo County couple.

Julie Wadkins, 47, of Fulton, was charged with burglary of a dwelling.

Deputies alleged Wadkins broke the window and entered the house in the Iuka area.

Wadkins was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center for treatment of injuries she had received trying to break in to the house. She was later released and taken to Tishomingo County Jail.

Her bond was set at $25,000.
