Woman hit by car in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman is in the hospital Tuesday after Columbus Fire and Rescue said she was hit by a car.

The accident happened around 4:30 Tuesday evening near the intersection of 18th Street and 7th Avenue North.

The extent of her injuries is unknown.

Columbus Police are investigating the crash
