Woman Indicted, Charged With Aggravated DUI Death

Darlene FarmerCALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Coffeeville woman is indicted in connection with a deadly Calhoun County crash.

Darlene Farmer is charged with aggravated DUI death.

On April 20th of this year, the Mississippi Highway Patrol told WCBI that Farmer attempted to pass another vehicle on Highway eight.

She collided head-on with a truck driven by 57 year-old Barry Hanks of Grenada.

He died at the scene.

Another driver received minor injuries as a result of the crash.

If convicted, Farmer could spend up to 25 years in prison.
