Work on an 8 foot sink hole in Columbus will affect travel Thursday

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Work on an 8-foot sinkhole in Columbus will affect travel in the area thru Thursday.

Crews are working on Browder Street at Highway 182 to repair the hole caused by recent rains.

The south side of the intersection is closed to traffic in both directions.

The road is scheduled to reopen sometime Thursday.
