Video: Yet Another Arrest Is Made In The Ongoing Arson-For-Hire Investigation

CLAY CO., Miss. (WCBI) – Clay County deputies make another arrest in an ongoing and wide range arson for hire scheme.

56 year-old Billy Aron of Houston is charged with second degree arson.

He’s the third person charged in connection with last November’s fire at the West Point Stockyard.

Flames destroyed the business.

Aron’s bond has not been set.

“We are still working on the actual motive, that he had to have it done. But again, the investigation is still ongoing. We are still being assisted by the other agencies, along with state agencies in the investigation,” says Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott.

Other arrests are possible.

42 year-old Jason Williams, 38 year-old Daniel Easley, and 72 year-old Tommy Williams are also charged with arson in connection with that same fire.
