Amory Man Dies in Late Morning Crash

MONROE CO., Miss.(WCBI) – An Amory man dies after a late Monday morning crash in Monroe County.

State troopers say the truck Michael Watson, 53, was driving left Highway 8, went through a fence and hit a tree about 11:35 AM.

The accident happened in the Westville Community.

Watson was wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley says Watson died of natural causes.

Mississippi Highway Patrolmen are investigating the crash.
