Bond Is Set For Winston County Murder Suspect

WINSTON CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A judge set Kevin LaDexter Carter’s bond at $300,000 dollars this morning.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh says investigators believe Carter shot and killed 39-year-old Angela Collier on Feburary 12th.

Deputies say Carter also hit another woman inside her home near Noxapater, before going on a nearly week-long manhunt.

Carter turned himself in to a Leake County deputy.

Carter’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 22.
