BREAKING – Identity of Itawamba County Drowning Victim Released

ITAWAMBA COUNTY (WCBI) – A Lee County man is dead, the victim of an apparent drowning in
the Tenn-Tom waterway.

Sheriff Chris Dickinson says 18 year old Austin Reynolds of Saltillo was swimming with a group of people around 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, south of the Bean’s Ferry boat ramp, and never surfaced.

The area is a popular swimming spot.

Deputies, firefighters, wildlife officers and state troopers spent the evening searching for reynolds

Rescuers are asking people to avoid that area until further notice.
