BAILEY IV

Pryor Spencer Bailey IV fled from a Webster County deputy attempting a DUI stop just after 10:00 AM.  Bailey fled from the Webster County deputy and led numerous agencies on a high speed chase through 3 counties.  The chase ended when the suspect hit stop sticks near the 82 and Highway 50 exit and eventually stopped about 3 miles down the road.  The MBI says Bailey got out of  the Hyundai SUV with two guns and opened fire, wounding Lowndes County Deputy Kevin Forrester.  Officers returned fire, fatally wounding Bailey.  The State Crime Scene Unit is now on scene and will gather evidence in the case.  Bailey’s body will be sent to the State Medical Examiners office for an autopsy.
