Columbus Firefighters Respond To Report Of House Fire

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Firefighters fight back smoke Monday afternoon at an east Columbus home.

The fire was reported on Highway 182, near Armstrong Road, at the city limits.

Firemen could be seen around the property using hoses to put out the fire.

Columbus Fire and Rescue has not released any information about the blaze.

The roadway was shut down for a while until crews were able to leave the home.
