Couple Charged After Infant Tests Positive For Drugs

UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Union County couple is arrested after their newborn tests positive for drugs.

Justin Wray, 29, and Brandi Valentine, 24, are charged with felony child endangerment.

Sheriff Jimmy Edwards says the child is less than a month old.

Wray and Valentine’s bond is set at ten thousand dollars each.

Edwards says the Mississippi Department of Corrections placed a hold on Valentine for a parole violation.

He says the woman was arrested for the same crime involving another child.
