Crash #1
After Troopers arrived on the scene, it appeared Stanley Bramer, 29, of Eureka, MO, was operating a 2013 Kenworth Semi Tractor/Trailer, when he pulled out of the truck stop and attempted to cross US 45. It appears Bramer failed to yield the right away and pulled into the path of a south bound, 2005 Jeep Liberty, driven by Briana Bryan, 19, of Walnut, causing her vehicle to collide into the trailer of the 18-wheeler.

Bramer was not injured in the crash.

Bryan was transported by ambulance to Magnolia Regional Hospital with critical injuries. She was later transferred to Region One in Memphis.

Crash #2
Troopers also responded to a second accident on US 45 at approximately the same time. One-half mile north of the truck stop, near King Kars, Troopers were sent to investigate a hit-and-run crash involving three vehicles. Upon arriving it appeared Jason Gray 39, of Corinth, was traveling west on County Road 405 and apparently ran the stop sign and collided into a north bound, 2009 Chevy Cobalt, driven by John Johnson, 24, of Corinth.

After colliding into Johnson’s vehicle, Gray continued to cross US 45 and collided into a south bound, 2014 Ford Explorer, driven by Benjamin McCoy, 45, of Corinth.

Gray left the scene traveling south on US 45 before crashing his vehicle on Alcorn County Road 511.

He was arrested and charged with 2 counts of leaving the scene of an accident, DUI, and several other traffic citations. He remains in the Alcorn County jail.

No one was injured from these crashes.
