COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) The Columbus-Lowndes Public Library will host an open house Thursday for the 5th Annual Festival of Trees. 18 trees are now adorning both floors of the library building.

All of the trees were decorated by local businesses and group organizations. The tradition started in 2009 to give participants a chance to share the holiday spirit.

Carolers and choirs will be singing some of your favorite holiday songs. Refreshments will also be served.There will even be crafts set up for children to enjoy.

The Festival of Trees open house will begin at 4 pm and wrap up around 6 p.m..
