STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) The Starkville Police Department was dispatched to the Wal-Mart located at 1010 Hwy 12 West in Starkville, Mississippi on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in reference to a shoplifting that had just taken place. Eye witness accounts and video footage show five (5) black males entering the Electronics Department and breaking the glass display case with what appears to be a hammer. The suspects proceeded to steal 15 iPad Mini’s and 14 iPads totaling $14,000, stuffing them into a black duffel bag before all assailants fled in different directions. The get-a-way vehicle is described as a charcoal gray, newer model Chevrolet Impala with the tag hanging down.
