Flywheel Festival Kick Off

HOUSTON,Miss. (WCBI)—The City of Huston County is gearing up to kick off it’s 35th Flywheel festival.

The 2 day festival is hosted by the Chickasaw Development foundation each year.

This year’s event will include an antique tractor and engine display, live entertainment, the anvil drop, demonstrations in the park of 1800s living and a tractor parade.

The event organizer says it will be lots of fun for the family.

“Visiting and having a big time and looking forward to a big show tomorrow and we want everyone to come out. It doesn’t cost anything you can spend the day, get outside the park is lovely. We’ve got a nice walking track. There’s plenty to eat and drink and a lot of shade places to sit down you can visit see people you haven’t seen and make new friends,” Event Organizer Harry Collins said.

The Flywheel Festival will begin Saturday morning at eight o’ clock with the opening ceremony.
