Former W Administrator Heading To Oxford
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) – Perry Sansing, former assistant to the president and university counsel at Mississippi University for Women, has been named associate general counsel at the University of Mississippi.
The university announced in a news release that Sansing also will serve as the chancellor’s special assistant for governmental affairs.
Sansing’s father is David Sansing, UM professor emeritus of history and author of a book chronicling the history of Ole Miss.
Before joining MUW 14 years ago, Sansing was a partner in two Jackson law firms. He was also a law clerk for Chief Judge Charles Clark of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
He earned undergrad and law degrees from Ole Miss.
