Guntown Burglary and Drug Arrests
GUNTOWN, Miss. (Press Release) — A Tupelo man faces charges in connection with a burglary Friday.
Guntown police have charged Isaiah Jermaine McAllister, 26, with burglary – breaking an entering of an occupied dwelling.
The burglary happened on Mitchell Street in Guntown.
Chief Michael Hall says that McAllister used a large piece of asphalt to break through a window to gain entry into the residence.
His bond has been set at $15,000 by Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland. The case is expected to be presented to the next available Grand Jury.
Police say that Childers was found in possession of approximately 110 Xanax bars and was also found in possession of marijuana.
Chief Michael Hall says that Childers was also wanted out of Texas on a dangerous drug charge.
Childers bond has been set at $10,000 by Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland. The case is expected to be presented to the next available grand jury.
Chief Hall adds that Childers is expected to be extradited to Texas after making bond on the current charges.
