High Winds Flip Monroe Mobile Home

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – High winds are being blamed for an overturned a mobile home in Monroe County.

The crash happened on Highway 8, near Beeks Road.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says there were no injuries but it took a while to clear the scene.

It appears a strong gust of wind hit the home as it came over a hill.

State troopers worked a number of accidents and reports of downed trees, mainly along the Highway 82 and Highway 8 corridors.

No injuries have been reported.
