Lafayette County Man Jailed For Stolen Gun

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Oxford police are charging a Taylor man with possession of a stolen gun following a routine traffic stop. 19-year-old DeShannon Price was stopped near the square. Officers searched the car and found a gun and narcotics.

The gun was traced back to a home burglary in the Grand Oaks neighborhood earlier this summer. Price is being held on a $2,500 bond.
