Brooksville Police: Man Tries to Pay Underage Girl for Sex

BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A Brooksville man has been arrested, after police say he tried to pay an underage girl to have sex with him.

Brooksville police have charged 24-year-old Joshua Parson with public drunkenness, and enticement of a child for prostitution.

Officers say the incident involving a 13-year-old girl reportedly happened last week.

Parson has since been released from jail on $2,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
