Clay County Habitat for Humanity Women Build Week

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – West Point women were hard at work with Habitat for Humanity Friday morning.

It’s National Women Build Week.

Friday a crew of West Point women helped paint ceilings at the new home of Queenie Dean and her three daughters.

Clay County Habitat for Humanity began remodeling the home in October. Queenie moved in three weeks ago.

“We’re very grateful, thankful and excited. Words cannot express the gratitude and the happiness and all the joy that we actually have,” Dean said.

Lowe’s sponsors National Women Build week and provided a $5,000 grant to Clay County Habitat for Humanity.
