Former Baseball Coach Served Indictment

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- A former Starkville Academy baseball coach has been indicted for allegedly making advances towards underage girls.

Jody Britt was served a grand jury indictment Tuesday.

Britt was arrested in September and charged with enticement of a child, after two incidents were reported to Starkville Police.

The indictment claims Britt made advances towards two teens who were 16 years old at the time.

The document states Britt tried to entice, solicit, advise, coerce or seduce the two minors in the fall of 2015.

Britt is out on a $70,000 bond.
