Itawamba County Shooting, Man Shot In The Jaw

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A shooting in Itawamba County leaves a man recovering in a Huntsville hospital and a woman in jail.

Sheriff Chris Dickenson says the unidentified man was shot in the jaw.

Charges are expected to be filed against Christina Leatch today.

Dickenson says the shooting happened last night on Highway 25 in the parking lot of an old store in the Fairview Community.

Investigators say the man and woman were a couple at one point.

The shooting remains under investigation.
