Lowndes County Searching for Missing Man in Columbus

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that they are searching for a man who has been missing since Thursday.

Family members confirmed the man is 50 year old William Darnell of Columbus.

They are searching around the Columbus Lock & Dam off Waverly Ferry Road and Wilkins Wise Road.

The Sheriff’s Department says the Darnell’s car has been located.
