Monday Shooting Leaves One Injured

TUPELO, MS (WCBI) – One man is being treated for a gunshot wound after an afternoon shooting in Tupelo.  Chief Bart Aquirre says the man was hit in the chest at an apartment complex on Crestview Drive .  Aquirre says the victim’s wounds are life threatening but no official condition is being released.  A woman at the scene is in custody but no charges against her have been filed.
