Video: Tupelo Woman Arrested for Kidnapping, Sexual Battery

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A Tupelo woman is arrested after police say she kidnapped two boys.

Tupelo police arrested 29-year-old Georgia Sasso, Wednesday, for two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of sexual battery.

Investigators tell WCBI the social worker took two boys from South Mississippi over the weekend, and brought them to Tupelo.

Sasso reportedly knew one of the boys from a previous job.

Investigators say this is her first arrest in Tupelo.

Sasso’s bond has been set at $100,000.
