Video: Two Injured In Lowndes Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) – MHP responded to a two vehicle MVA on US 45A around 3:52 P.M. Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Tarleton Road, April 20th, 2015.

A Blue 2008, Toyota Camry was traveling south in the right lane of US 45A. A white 2004, Ford Taurus entered the crossover for Tarleton road.

The Taurus attempted to cross the southbound traffic at which time the front of the Toyota collided into the right rear of the Ford. The Toyota spun counter clockwise and traveled forward coming to rest in the right southbound lane. The Ford spun clockwise, traveling southwest and came to rest on Tarleton road.

The driver of the Toyota, 37 year old Felesha C. Neal of Macon and the driver of the Ford, 56 year old Jerry Parks of Brooksville sustained minor injuries during the collision.

Both drivers were transported to BMH for further medical review.

The accident remains under investigation by MHP
