Two Wanted In West Point Remain On The Run

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – One of the men wanted for violent crimes in West Point turns himself in and two more remain on the run.

Lantra Haughton, 36, wanted for aggravated assault. The investigation started when a man went to the hospital after being beaten with a bat and two by four on April 21st. Corey Haughton turned himself in to officers.

In a separate investigation, Desmond Warren, 22, is wanted connection with an armed robbery in a hotel parking lot. Police say he’s also facing another charge of intimidating a witness. He’s known to hangout in Starkville and carry a gun.

A reward of up to one thousand dollars leading to these men’s arrest is available through Crime Stoppers.
