Video: Annual Monroe County Banquet Held

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – On Thursday, leaders of Monroe County attended the annual Monroe County Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Executive Director Skip Scaggs welcomed the community members to the meeting.

Board members discussed last year’s achievements and the goals for the new year, while others enjoyed the luncheon.

The banquet concluded with a speech from keynote speaker Dickie Scruggs, the founder of Second Chances Mississippi, an organization that helps Mississippi inmates earn their GED while serving time in jail.
