Video: Golden Triangle Early College High School Holds Awards Ceremony

MAYHEW, Miss. (WCBI) – The end of school is always a big deal for students and their teachers. But one freshman class is marking a milestone.

The first class of the Golden Triangle Early College High School celebrates their first year with an awards program.

Brooklyn McCollough of Caledonia is the recipient of the Spirit of GTECHS Award. It was the highest honor handed out Friday.

The parents were also recognized for their support and contributions to the first class.

The class is made of students from Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Clay and Lowndes Counties.

The event took place on the EMCC campus.
