Video: GSDP Celebrates 15 Years

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A prominent Starkville organization is celebrating 15 years of success with a black tie affair.

The Greater Starkville Development Partnership highlighted its accomplishments at Thursday night’s event, while presenting awards to area people and businesses.

The organization promotes economic development and tourism in Starkville.

“The partnership was formed in 2001, 15 years ago, said Jennifer Gregory, CEO. “We are really excited to get the community together, our chamber membership, and really look back over 15 years, celebrate some of our successes, and look toward the future, as well.”

C.C. Clark, Inc. was awarded Industry of the Year, and Mary Jane Runnels was named Ambassador of the Year.

Gregory also launched a five-year fundraiser for the organization.
