Video: Lowndes County Inmate Hospitalized After Allegedly Cutting Himself

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -One inmate was taken to the hospital after cutting himself Thursday morning.

Medics were called to the Lowndes County jail around10:30 A.M..

Reports say the unidentified person suffered one wound to the upper abdomen and also suffered a second cut.

Sheriff’s department officials say the wounds were self inflicted.
