STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A construction project in the city of Starkville is ongoing. And, in spite of the fact there is a messy deep hole in the Downtown Starkville area where the old electric department was, work on a new municipal complex is progressing and is at a nice schedule. The existing city hall eventually will be renovated into a new police department. Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman is said to be pleased with what has been happening so far.

“I mean its a construction project. There are always things to manage, but its staying on pace,” said Mayor Wiseman.

The municipal complex is expected to be completed no later than November 2015.
