Wanted Lowndes Man Captured

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – He went through the water to get away.

Now, Frank Rice is behind bars.

Lowndes County investigators say the 46 year-old ran from a deputy when he saw Rice arguing with a woman in the middle of the road on Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies tracked Rice as he ran into the Lux in an attempt to get away.

Rice was wanted for a probation violation by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

He was caught by MDOC on Wednesday night and remains in jail.
