Winston County Hosts Annual Homecoming Event

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) –  It was a celebration and a time of fellowship for Winston County natives on Saturday.

Homecoming was held for people who grew up in Winston County and graduated from the area schools.

The celebration has been held for the past 6 years during the Red Hills Festival.

For those who come back, they get to see many items on display from years ago.

Organizers say it’s a great way to see former classmates and friends.

“We just want everybody to know they’re welcome back to Winston County and when they come, they can look at some old antique items and memoribilia and annuals and pictures of things that happened a long time ago in Winston County,” said organizer Kathy Sinclair.

Organizers invite all Winston County natives to the celebration next year.
