Local Teacher Dies In Morning Crash

EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI)- A Eupora Elementary teacher is dead after her car flipped over in Webster County.

34-year-old Jacklyn McMullen of Eupora and her two children were involved in the crash.

The children managed to crawl out of the overturned vehicle and run to a nearby house where police were then called.

Investigator Landon Griffen says McMullen was pronounced dead at the scene and the children suffered minor injuries.

Eupora High School tweeted out to Eupora Elementary to memorialize McMullen.

The Tweet read: “Lifting our friends at Eupora Elementary in prayer as they mourn the loss of Ms. Jackie McMullen who died in a car wreck today. Hashtag- Eagle Family.”

Webster County Sheriff’s office is still investigating the accident.
