Mercedes-Benz Looks to Hire 1,000 Employees
VANCE, Ala. (WCBI)-Mercedes-Benz is looking to hire one thousand new employees. The company out of Alabama will be accepting applications online only until April 15th. The company will be starting a new C-Class sedans at its Vance assembly plant. Training will begin for the new sedan is expected to begin later this year and deliver the new sedan to showrooms by next year. The screening and processing of all applications is being done by AIDT, a state agency, no applications will be accepted at the sight. Job applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience without unexplained gaps. Applicants who have an Alabama resident for at least two years are preferred and all applicants should be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends.
