BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – New Albany police have arrested two kidnapping suspects after a child went missing Tuesday afternoon.

Addison McGuire, 2, was taken from her daycare around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday by her birth parents.

New Albany police were able to find the suspects around 5 p.m. Tuesday after an alert was issued on the suspects’ license plate number.

The child was found safe and turned back over to the Mississippi Department of Human Services.

The suspects are being held in the Prentiss County Jail.

The identity of the two suspects will be revealed at a later time.
