Three Children Die In Overnight Fire

ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Three children are dead after they became trapped in a burning house early Saturday morning.

Attala County Sheriff Tim Nail says the fire happened around 1am on County Road 3217. When responders arrived the home was fully engulfed.

Nail says the children range from ages four to eleven.

The sheriffs department and state fire marshals are investigating the cause.
