MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-Monroe County Board of Supervisors have approved a three million dollar, 20 year bond to help improve roads. The board voted Monday(11-24), passing the the road bond by a slim 3-2 vote. The county had been considering a $5 million dollar road bond proposed by county road manager Sonny Clay but the plan was never approved. Clay will now be asked to formulate a new plan with the $3 million dollar bond.
