VIDEO: CPD Career Fair

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- The Columbus Police Department is looking for a few good men and women to join their ranks. On Saturday the CPD held a career fair and open house at their station in downtown Columbus. Potential applicants had the opportunity to see the latest crime-solving technology. Officers hosted K-9, fire-arms, and crime-scene demonstrations. Columbus Police Chief Oscar Lewis says he has plans to showcase the department quarterly until the more than 20 vacant positions are filled.
