Video: Missing Macon Man Spotted In Pennsylvania

MACON, Miss.(WCBI)—It’s now going on day 3 for a missing Macon Resident.

Corrie Woods was last seen outside his home in Macon around 1 p-m. Monday.

Corrie Woods left his home earlier this week without contacting any friends, family or his job.

“It was stunning because my brother has never done anything like this. I mean so, it was stunning to all the family. You know, it was kind of heart breaking because you I know me and my brother have a strong bond and for him to just leave off like that it was just mind blowing,”said Woods Sister Capriotta Woods.

Eric Bryant says once he got word of his cousin’s disappearance he got to work.

“It started messing with me a little bit so I went through my phone to see what I could do. I called my Auntie and told her to give me his number and so once she give me his number I went from there going through my phone and I hit the tracker on the phone and started tracking down his phone and so when I tracked down his phone it showed me a wooded area with some water like he had run his car off in the woods,”said Woods Cousin Eric Bryant

That doesn’t appear to be the case because the Pennsylvania Highway patrol says he was in Brookville Pennsylvania Wednesday night.

“The Penn. state trooper told us that they had got Corrie walking and they had put him in the hotel they have the car. They have the phone. When they went back to check on him he was not in the location. So we don’t know where he is at this moment we know that he is in Brookville Penn,”said Woods Cousin Erika Cotton

Bryant say they have no idea where this behavior came from.

” He was a real cool calm collect guy. I talked with him Saturday. He came over to my house and we chilled a little bit talked a little bit. But I’ve never seen him go out of the state of Mississippi like this before,”said Bryant.

Pennsylvania law enforcement was unable to detain Woods because he hadn’t committed a crime.
