Video: Starkville Residents ‘Unwine’ Downtown

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — It may not be the weekend yet, but Starkville residents are already un’wine’ding Thursday night.

Starkville Main Street hosts Unwine Downtown three times a year, so local women can do some wine tasting and after-hours shopping.

Participating shops serve different wines and appetizers, while offering discounts.

There’s also live music and artisan booths.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to come and see artists at work,” said local artist Jeanette Jarmon. “I think there’s 10 different artists around town, and I like being able to show my work.”

This event is held during the spring, summer and fall.
