COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It was a good turn out for Dr. Seuss Birthday Saturday afternoon at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library.

Kids ages 3 to 5 years old were invited to come out to enjoy some Dr. Seuss learning, games and cake. Children participated in making fish, face paint, and even Dr. Seuss books were on display available for check out. All the activities were literacy based designed to have young children learn while having fun.

The event was put together by staff and volunteers of the library.
