Video: Columbus Man Found Guilty in Shooting Case

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County jury returns a guilty verdict against Joel Jones.  Jones shot Zachariah Johnson in the chest, head, and arm. Another man was also hit during the shooting.
During the trial, Johnson identified Jones as the shooter.Jones was found was found guilty on two counts of aggravated assault.He was found not guilty for intimidating a witness.
Jones faces 20 years on each count.
He’ll be Sentenced Monday morning.
