STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Starkville teachers are getting a late Christmas present. During the next two weeks, the school district’s 350 teachers will get laptops to do everything from manage video presentations in the classroom to record grades, develop lesson plans and grade tests at home. The school board approved the program in November and the district has been working with Synergetics to put it in place. Teachers at Overstreet and Henderson will be the first to get the new devices. The laptops will be returned every three years and replaced with new computers, allowing the district to keep up with technology upgrades.
