WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-Winston County residents get a chance Monday night (12-10) to help shape a long-term school building and renovation program. The school district is considering about $7.5 million dollars in renovations and expansion during the next two years. Almost every school in the county would be impacted. District administrators will outline the plan during a public meeting Monday (12-10) night at 6 at Noxapater Attendance Center. In addition to more efficiency and safety, the program focuses on improving academic achievement by providing more space for everything from physical education to advanced coursework at younger grades.
